- Was made in 1995 in America
- Budget was $90 million
- A lot of science was happening in 1995 and that also would work with this film because they was talking about lot of science and we are going to start living in the future.
- The marketing side of Judge dredd was them making a booklet to do with all the characters and what they are capable of and what there bio is. Also they was giving away Badges.
- The distribution was very little in 1995 all they could do was show the trailers of the movie in cinema, TV and video so they couldn't expand it as much.
Judge Dredd Remake
- Was made in 2012 in America
- budget was $45 million
- There was a lot of spending on the Federal side in America which would make sense making parts in the film king the police film looking bad and corrupt also a lot of people's jobs where going in this time.
- The remake was artistic because they had a less budget but the film was good they added there own elements in there like the bad guy and what happened in the storyline unlike the remake of physico.
- The remake done more of an appearance marketing scheme like Thor 2 did and just announced a remake and that got everybody excited hoping for the remake to be amazing with all the technology now days.
- With the ramie distrubtion you had so much to offer because you could watch trailers and look at images of the making of the movie on the internet and as well as is being sold all around the world on DVD or Blue-ray so there is so much to show for distribution.
- the news for the remake was at comic con when Director Pete Travis said about how he going to to the remake and how that with the tecnoligy they should make it brilliant.
- When the audinces fount out they was excited and couldn't wait for the film to come out when shown at cinema the audince was impressed but it didn't make it big as when this film came out people that haven't seen it before was expecting a super hero not a cop.
Both Movies
- The impact on the movies would be the same in the way it just critices would say its just not the original movie. because of this people would complain about that side of the movie.
- The audinces would be the same people that like bloody action movies with list of guns and explosions.
- When gong on rotten Tomatoes which is a critics website for films and says that 78% of critics enjoyed the remake than the original which only had 18% so over quadruple people like the remake
The comparison between the two films was good, maybe add something on the social and political issues that were going on at the time of each production.
