Soundtrack Worksheet 2

Soundtrack 1: Dramatic
A dramatic soundtrack will be needed within movie. This will add more feeling to certain scenes therefore bringing the audience closer to the characters and what is happening within the scene.

Music: Slow and dramatic music, orchestral score will be needed for the sad scenes, dramatic scenes to create more feeling for the audience.

Foley: Pre recorded Foley sounds will be used to create realism within the scene, there won’t be much used, just the right sounds to go with the scenes.

Live Sound: Live sound will be recorded on the day of vocals, but for this soundtrack the vocals are important they are correct as they will be important to get feeling across, on top of this live sound of the surrounding area to add a real life and dramatic effect.

Soundtrack 2: Dark
I will use a dark soundtrack throughout the film, as it will set the tone for the dark scenes of the movie. I will create this using the right music and sound effects to create a dark and eerie tone.

Music: I will not use much music to create this soundtrack, but in some places it will be needed, to do this I will need to find or create an ambient soundtrack to give it that dark feeling to the scene.

Foley: I will use Foley and SFX to create this soundtrack, wind blowing and loud footsteps are useful to create this.

Live Sound: Live sound will be recorded on the day, mainly vocals, it is important these vocals are said correctly from our actors to sound dark rather than happy or anything to contrast them from the soundtrack.

Soundtrack 3: Intense
Intense soundtrack will be needed  for certain atmosphere in scenes. The intense music will help draw an audience in and help them feel involved because the soundtrack will happen in scenes where our main character will be in fighting scenes.

Music: Intense Music will play over the scenes, I am looking for this music to be created through logic to create unique sounds for these scenes.

Foley: Foley will be needed in the scenes, footsteps to increase the intensity around our character to give that feeling of not knowing who is around or creeping up on people.

Live Sound: Live sound will be recorded to focus on vocal sound. Due to scenes mainly being inside background noises won’t be crowded but I feel this is more of a reason to make sure the vocals are clearly recorded on the day for editing.

Soundtrack 4: Happy
The opening scene will be set as a rather happy scene to contrast with the rest of the film, so just for this scene a more joyful soundtrack to help create this feeling,

Music: A happy soundtrack will be used 'Have you ever scene rain' in the opening to throw the audience off for the scene that happens after.

Foley: Foley sounds will be recorded to for a car engine sound and an atmosphere around to create realism.
