When doing My trailer one of the first thing i decided to do was colour grading all the cups in After Effects the reason for this is so i could get a better quality on the clips and this would make the look more High definition. To use Colour grading i first had to go into after effects search colour grading then when on colour grading i then used RGB which help me change all the different gradings.Once choosing colour Grading i also clicked on the curves which gave me the chance to change the red, green and blue. the main colour i was suing for my film though is red because it give it that more crisp look and by doing this i had to drag the middle of the curve down so i can bring the red more into the clip which would make it look more crisp but i was more of a haze in the clip.
Once Colour grading all my clips i had to put the after effects into the trailer by doing this i mate four tittles one saying intense, thrilling and powerful and then the actual film title at the end of the clip. With the end title s all i did was change key frames on the words and also the position the scale and the capacity of the letters in each clip. The once i did this i added a camera to the composition with the camera i changed it to front view instead of it being on the active camera. I did this because i didn't want the lens distorting the letters. With the opacity i changed over three frames over a very amount of time to give the letters a flickery effect. The reason i wanted to use this for the writing is because it also gives that intense look about it because the flickering also goes with the music which i liked.
For the singles words in my trailer i used after effects and changed the position and scale to move the words from the back of the screen to the front once doing this i changed the capacity to the start to make the words fade in before it moved. I think personally think it wired because it gave that quick intense for a second of writing which most action trailers have in theres.
