After effects Shape Layers

People Always use Shape Layers because they want to cart a Dynamic Background like in this fake show called Dj Quad Master one of the good things about using shape layers is that you don't have to use a solid layer but you can use a fill option to create a liner or a radial gradient. When using after effects they give you the option to use five different shape tools which are Star,Polygon,round rectangle,ellipse  and rectangle. when you want to draw a shape directly in to the composition panel it will add a new shape layer. and if you want you can apply stroke to modify its path/
If you want to do this you start by selecting the rectangle tool and create a shape filling on the screen once you have clicked the fill option and also the gradient editor, choosing white and blue giving the back a white centre and a blue background. once finishing this you click on the polygon shape and change the roundness 600% and the outer radius 150. once i finished doing this i faded out and made the blue go lighter and created several to create a background and did the same with the other shapes.
